Camping at Moonshadow Festival - August 18-22, 2017
Camping under the stars in the beautiful meadows at Wine Down Ranch offers the richest way to experience the 2017 solar eclipse. Moonshadow Festival camping is “Dry,” with no hookups, electricity or water sources for either campground. This is a leave no trace, pack it in and pack it out event. Please come prepared with your own gear, water and food, and know what to expect.
RV and Trailer Camping
Any recreation vehicle, trailer or camper with a vehicle engine will be in the RV-Trailer campground. RV hookups (electrical, water, etc) are not available.
RV campsites are $400 per engine, with camping access and festival wristbands for two people. Additional persons are $200, while children ages ten and under are free, but must have a Child ticket for entry.
- RV spaces are assigned upon arrival and specific spaces cannot be reserved in advance. If side-by-side spaces are desired, the RV's will need to arrive together.
RV spaces measure 20’ by 40’. Tents are permitted in the RV camping area, within the allotted space. Space "around" your RV for setting up chairs, etc will be limited. Oversize RV’s must arrange for larger space when purchasing tickets by contacting Event organizers.
The RV space reservation fee covers ONE engine. Additional motorized vehicles are subject to $25 per vehicle weekend parking pass fee. If you are towing another vehicle, you may be asked to move that vehicle to the main parking lot. If that happens, you will not be charged for overnight parking in the main lot.
- Limited portapotties will be available in the RV campground. Use of personal RV potties for RV campers is highly recommended to relieve pressure on Festival facilities. Dumping waste is strictly prohibited.
The tent camping is located in a cattle grazing pasture on site, and is suitably flat for most tents. Tent camping is not in the same field where RV's park.
Individual camping passes are $200 per person, ages 11 and older and include four nights of camping and festival access. Children ages ten and under are free with a ticketed adult, but must have a Child ticket for entry.
There are no size restrictions for tents and campsites, but please be considerate of other campers and only use as much space as you really need. Tent campers will need to inform staff at the gate how many campers will be in the site together, and sites will be allotted on first-come first serve basis. You may be asked to consolidate your camping area if you are using more space than is needed.
Motorized Vehicles are not allowed in the tent camping site, and must be parked in the main lot with a weekend festival parking pass ($25). Tent Campground is walk-in only, and temporary parking will be available close to the campground for Load-In/Load-Out only.
No showers or hookups are available. Please bring adequate water supply for yourself and your entire party to self-sustain all drinking, cooking and washing during your stay. Limited potable water available for container refill. Bottled water will be available for purchase from market vendors on-site.
