Moonshadow Festival Rules

Camping under the stars in the beautiful meadows at Wine Down Ranch offers the richest festival experience! All camping is “Dry” with no hookups, electricity or water, so we want everyone to be prepared and know what to expect. For the safety of all attendees, these rules will be strictly enforced.

NOTE: Vehicle parking and camping is limited, therefore arriving without a camping or festival day pass may result in no availability. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE WITHOUT A TICKET.

Camping Rules - All Campers

  • ALL OVERNIGHT CAMPERS MUST HAVE A WEEKEND FESTIVAL WRISTBAND. Weekend Wristband is required for in/out access between the festival and overnight areas. Overnight stays and campground access are not available for single-day pass holders.

  • Camping passes grant entry to the Moonshadow Festival grounds starting at 3:00 PM on Friday Aug. 18. Upon arrival, check in with the RV/Campsite Coordinator to scan tickets, receive wristbands, sign liability waiver and get campsite assignment. All campers must sign a liability waiver to obtain a weekend festival wristband.

  • Overnight RV and tent campers may arrive anytime throughout the weekend when entry gates are open, though only one type of camping pass will be sold. Gates will open on Friday, August 18 between 3:00 PM.  Entry gates will close at Midnight, and late arrivals will be denied entry until Saturday morning at 8:00 AM. Entry gates will be open 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM Saturday (Aug. 19) and Sunday (Aug 20). Entry gates will be open starting at 6:00 AM Monday (Aug. 21) to 11:00 PM for eclipse viewing and day pass holders.

  • All camping guests must vacate the property by 12:00 PM (noon) on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

  • Quiet hours will be enforced: 12:00 AM (midnight) to 8:00 AM every day.

Due to the property being located in the fire prone region of Central Oregon, all smoking is limited to DESIGNATED smoking zones which are located throughout the event site and camping areas. This policy will be STRICTLY enforced and will result in EJECTION from the event if not followed.  Please help us keep the festival and forest safe and remind your friends that smoking violations are serious and that WE WILL EVICT THEM IF THEY ARE CAUGHT SMOKING OUTSIDE OF A DESIGNATED AREA!

Overnight RV Camping Rules

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT RV CAMPING DETAILS:

RV Parking is located in a cattle grazing pasture on site...not in a lush green field. The condition of the ground is variable, so multiple footwear options are recommended.

  • RV parking reservations must be purchased in advance. Single-night RV Parking is not available, though camping pass holders may enter the festival grounds anytime after Friday at 3:00 p.m. RV hookups are not available.

  • Dumping waste is strictly prohibited.

  • Tents are permitted in the RV camping area, within the allotted RV space.

  • RV spaces are assigned upon arrival and specific spaces cannot be reserved in advance. If side-by-side spaces are desired, the RV's would need to arrive together.

  • The RV space reservation fee covers one engine. Additional motorized vehicles are subject to $25 per vehicle weekend parking pass fee.

  • If you are towing another vehicle, you may be asked to move that vehicle to the main parking lot. If that happens, you will not be charged for overnight parking in the main lot.

  • Space "around" your RV for setting up chairs, etc will be limited. RV spaces measure 20’ by 40’. Oversize RV’s must arrange for larger space when purchasing tickets by contacting Event organizers.

  • Limited portapotties will be available in the RV campground. Use of personal RV potties for RV campers is highly recommended to relieve pressure on Festival facilities.

You may be asked to consolidate your camping area if you are using more space than is needed.

  • Motorized Vehicles are not allowed in the tent camping site, and must be parked in the main lot. Tent Campground is walk-in only, and temporary parking will be available close to the campground for Load-In/Load-Out only.
